7th Annual Halloween Spooktacular at Mariners Park: This free community event includes music, trunk-or-treat area, a haunted walkthrough, carnival games, bounce houses, costume contests, food trucks, and fun for the whole family! Food will be available for purchase from local favorites. Mariners Park & VJ Community Center is at 1300 Irvine Ave., Newport Beach, CA 92660. Parking is limited. Walking and biking are encouraged. Knott's Scary Farm: Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park transforms into a haunted theme park during the Halloween season. It features haunted mazes, scare zones, live entertainment and thrilling rides. It's a favorite among those seeking a scare. Runs through November 2nd. 

Halloween Time at Disneyland: There is lots of frightful fun to be had during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. Enjoy spirited touches throughout the parks, ride Haunted Mansion Holiday and head over to Cars Land for Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree. Runs through October 31st.

Boo at the Zoo: The Santa Ana Zoo often hosts family-friendly Halloween events. Boo at the Zoo includes trick-or-treating, costume contests and various Halloween-themed activities. October 19 - 27. 

Halloween Time at Irvine Park Railroad: Irvine Park Railroad in Orange features a pumpkin patch, hayrides, a haunted house, a maze, face painting, and much more.  It's perfect for families looking for kid-friendly Halloween fun. Runs through October 31st.

Pumpkin Patch Nights at Tanaka Farms: Join Tanaka Farms as they light up their pumpkin patch on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays from October 4 through October 27 until 9pm. Their annual pumpkin patch and fall festival is open daily. Queen Mary Long Beach: The Queen Mary ship in Long Beach will host its annual Halloween-themed event, Dark Harbor, on select nights. The event will feature mazes, shows, and other attractions, and guests can also stay overnight on the ship. Runs through November 2nd

EscapeX Rooms: Located by John Wayne Airport, EscapeX has three thrilling rooms - The Attic, Mafia Heist and The Curse of the Black Knight. This is a fun activity for kids and adults.
