Burkhart Brothers hosts Michelin-starred Chef Michael Collantes

Burkhart Bros. hosted Michelin-starred Chef Michael Collantes in Orange County to headline their popular “Beyond the Blueprint” seasonal chef series at their Orange County headquarters.

Burkhart Bros Construction, one of Newport Beach’s premiere luxury home builders, celebrates a successful wrap to the second quarter of 2024 by hosting Michelin-star-rated Chef Michael Collantes of Soseki. Florida in their state-of-the-art kitchen within the Burkhart Bros headquarters. The event comprised of influential guests, iconic architects, designers, and various leaders across multiple industries in Orange County, including city council members and county dignitaries. 

Bryan and Mark Burkhart welcomed guests to enjoy a 7-course food and wine pairing experience curated meticulously by Chef Collantes and MW (Master of Wine) candidate Edward Manetta. The menu included spectacular wines and Sake selected by Ed from Bryan’s personal collection with a Michelin-star spangled menu. Chef Collantes prepared a one-of-a-kind experience with a custom menu boasting crispy handrolls of lobster, lime miso butter and ahi bluefin tuna flown in from Japan, beluga caviar tartare, king crab corn miso chowder, decadent ribeye black garlic jus, truffled micro greens, and more. The lavish menu prepared live was something to be celebrated! 

Notable attendees included Fady Hakim, Geoff Sumich, Rona Grace, Jeffrey  Maynard, Brion Jeannette, Newport Beach City Councilmen Joe Stapleton, Richard Reisman, and Alexandra Taylor. Chef Michael Collantes is a Michelin star chef with multiple concepts who flew in from Florida to entertain our influential in OC. Chef earned his  1st Michelin star in 2022, a year after launching Soseki Modern Omakase in Orlando, FL.
