Happy 4th of july newport beach

By: Kym Whitney

The vibrant spirit of Newport Beach comes alive each year on the 4th of July, as neighborhoods transform into festive hubs for block parties brimming with patriotic enthusiasm. Residents and visitors alike gather to celebrate Independence Day with a blend of traditional charm and coastal flair. Streets are adorned with red, white, and blue decorations, while the aroma of barbecued delights fills the air. Children parade with decorated bikes and wagons, and families partake in games and activities that evoke a sense of community and joy. As the sun sets, the sky over Newport Beach lights up with dazzling fireworks, capping off a day of unforgettable celebration and camaraderie.

This year, resident Lynne H. Vodra hosted the Lido Isle community block party to celebrate our nation’s birthday.
