This full-service, busy salon is known as “The Ultimate Beauty Escape,” providing an exceptional experience to clients since 2006.

“This project started as a way for us to reimagine our lives and to reconstruct our personal place in this ever-changing world. We are obsessed with all things beauty and can’t wait to share our expertise with you!” explains owners Rita and Hannah.

Over the years, like trends, Ms. Moxie Project has evolved. In 2020, owners Rita and Hannah made the choice to expand their high-functioning salon by adding a new boutique experience, providing a multifunctional space to include: cutting-edge hair and beauty services and now, an ever-changing boutique with clothing, accessories, and multiple exclusive hair care lines. This fusion of beauty and fashion offers a fun and inviting space for customers who want an elevated experience from the typical hair service they may be accustomed to.

The beauty aspect is covered, so now it’s time to delve more into the brains of this ingenious operation. Joint owners Hannah Olivieri and Rita Baglietto not only share unique-sounding last names but a special synergy that stems from their close working relationship, spanning over 25 years. Their combined experience, creativity and passion are what sets them apart from other stylists in the area. Through their shared vision, they’ve collaborated to create a space where their customers leave feeling loved, refreshed, beautiful and confident. Their business has grown organically from word of mouth. Customers can’t help but divulge their coveted experience that just can’t be duplicated.

In addition to running the salon and boutique and providing a personalized experience, Hannah and Rita love giving back to the community in greater ways. They have hosted several events to support various organizations in the area and welcome any inquiries about hosting an event at their location near the Newport Center.

Beyond the busyness that comes from running their own business, both Rita and Hannah are passionate about traveling, yoga, meditation and nature of any kind. A resident of San Clemente, Rita feels most rooted when walking barefoot in the sand, enjoying the sweet smell of the ocean air. And similarly, Hannah loves the charm and relaxed vibe that nature offers. She enjoys hikes and long walks to keep her centered and happy.
