Oceanfront Dining at Hau Tree
A trip to Kaimana Beach Hotel wouldn’t be complete without a meal at Hau Tree, the only true beachfront open-air restaurant in the area. This is a beloved spot by locals and visitors is known for its casual-yet-refined menu, featuring fresh seafood, tropical flavors, and one of Honolulu’s best brunches. Signature cocktails, like the Passionfruit Margarita or the refreshing Hau Tree Spritz, are the perfect complement to the ocean breeze. Hau Tree is open for brunch, lunch, and dinner. We dined here two times during our stay and it’s some of the best food we’ve had on the island.
Our favorites included: the Focaccia, Lomi Hamachi, King Salmon, Washugyu Striploin, and Sophia’s Rice, Chip & Rainbow Caviar, Kaimana Beach Burger, and King Salmon Poke Cornets.
