Today, I'm excited to share my favorite local spots for unwinding with a glass of wine or other spirits with friends. Here are my Top Five Happy Hour Spots in Newport Beach.
1. A Restaurant (the original) in Newport Beach
One of my absolute favorites is A Restaurant in Newport Beach. This place has such a fun atmosphere and an old-school vibe that I adore. Tuesdays are my favorite because wine is 50% off! The energy here is unbeatable, and it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a night out.
CdM Restaurant is hands down my favorite spot on Wednesday nights. My girlfriends and I have our weekly "Wine Wednesdays" here, where wine is also 50% off. Notice a theme? The atmosphere is always buzzing, and we often run into people we know. It's such a lively and welcoming place, making every Wednesday night so much fun.
3. Bandera
Bandera is the perfect place for happy hour any night of the week. It's a wonderful spot for a girls' night out or a cozy date night. The wine pours are so generous, and the service is amazing. The aroma from their slow-roasted rotisserie chickens, cooked over a hardwood fire in a custom stone oven, is simply irresistible and lures you in even before you take your seat. Most notably here, every visit to Bandera feels special because of the friendly and attentive staff.
4. Red O
For a fun Taco Tuesday, I love taking my girls to Red O. Margaritas and wines are discounted before 6 p.m., and the bar food, like tacos, is absolutely delicious. The bar scene is so lively, making it the perfect place to catch up with friends over great drinks and tasty bites.
5. Rothschild's
I adore everything about Rothschild's. It’s the perfect place to gather my girls for drinks and yummy appetizers. The bar has a European vibe that makes me feel like I’m on vacation. During the summertime, we love sitting outside on the wonderful patio. Frank, the owner, is so kind and always makes us feel welcome.
