Celebrating 40 years!

Mariners Escrow has been a staple in the community, providing concierge escrow service with competitive fees to the residential and commercial real state community since 1982. This year marks 40 years of servicing clients in Orange County and the surrounding areas.

The owners of Mariners Escrow consist of R. Michael Perisi, President; Brian Foxcroft, Senior Escrow Officer; Jim Yokoi, CFO; and Adam Vaughn, VP of Sales.

Mariners Escrow was initially co-founded by Dana McNeill Wiener, Michael Perisi's mother. At the time, he was a real estate agent here in Newport Beach. Michael saw an opportunity to help manage, handle sales and bring the company into the 21st century technologically. He saw the potential of what they were building, the relationships in real estate they had fostered, and stepped into the role of President.

Mariners Escrow's mission statement is to exceed the clients' expectations when it comes to service and to provide it at an affordable rate. They adhere to the philosophy that they must shine in every transaction, regardless of complexity or size, to ensure they keep their clients happy and coming back. As a result, they have been the #1 escrow company in the local area for an astounding 25 years. Clearly, their philosophy is paying off.

Mr. Perisi feels that the biggest inspiration in life is to be happy, personally and professionally. Therefore, he strives to make the workplace as fun and supportive as possible to ensure a positive culture amidst even the most challenging and stressful escrows. As a result, they have built a close work-family of individuals empowered to provide excellent service to their clients.

The Mariners Escrow team is proud to have been named Best Places to Work in the Orange County Business Journal for four straight years. They intend to keep this trend going for years to come.

It is important to Mr. Perisi that real estate professionals know they are available for their Escrow needs 24/7. It doesn't matter if it's a question, a request for a fee quote, or an estimated statement. They are available as a resource and partner prior to and throughout the transaction.

Mariners has eight escrow officers with over 150 years of combined residential and commercial escrow experience. In addition, they have a sister company to further support the real estate community with 1031 exchange questions and transactions for their clients. They are very proud of each team member's knowledge and attention to detail throughout each transaction.

When reflecting on his career, Michael notes that back when his mom was immersed in Escrow spending long hours working, even when at home, his dad, who was in the title business for 45 years, told him, "Whatever you do, don't get into escrow or title." Ironically, Michael is now the owner of his mom's escrow company!

Personal Life:

Michael is married to his wife Nikki and has three children, Parker, Miley, and Holden. In addition, they have two adorable French Bulldogs, Fig and Kodak. Ms. Fig has become somewhat of a celebrity on Instagram. On occasion, she represents Mariners Escrow discussing current events and National Days with a quirky spin. Can you guess whose voice does the interpreting for her?
