Meet hardware house kitchen

The Hardware House Kitchen is a local family-run catering company that creates custom full-service menus, both sweet and savory, for all types of gatherings. In addition, they specialize in bringing beautiful, fresh, personalized details to every event.

Wes Minichiello and Angela Samuels are the talented husband and wife duo behind Hardware House Kitchen. They founded their catering business five years ago because of their shared passion for food and service.

Food, family, and community are at the core of their philosophy. Angela and Wes believe every event is special and should be tailored to fit its hosts perfectly. They are also inspired by all of the beautiful food products available in California, so they try to use local ingredients whenever possible. The couple also has a garden to harvest fresh edible flowers to complement their dishes.

Angela and Wes enjoy the collaborative process with their clients. From the first meeting where they get to know more about the event and who or what is being celebrated to creating custom menus that fit each unique gathering. As a family-run business, they are service-focused and enjoy showing their creativity through food. Whether someone is hosting an intimate dinner, shower, or cocktail party, they love to be a part of all their clients' important life moments.

As a husband and wife team, Angela and Wes are adept at navigating stressful situations, so they know how to get the job done when things get "hot" in the kitchen. Regardless of the event size, they have both the culinary skills and the ability to handle whatever comes their way.

From their first date to their first disagreement, food has always been
the foundation of their relationship. With independent food dreams, as their relationship grew, so did their mutual vision for entertaining family, friends, and community while enjoying farm-fresh, delicious eats, and sweets. As their catering business has grown, they have built a team that feels just like family. They look forward to bringing that same energy and feel to your special event.

Wes and Angela live locally in Upper Newport Bay. They are also busy parents of two little ones; their daughter, Sage (age 2), and their son Mateo 9 (age 1). And, we can't forget to mention their beloved cat, Junior.
