A Unique Luxury Car Rental Service

Newport Auto Galleria is a luxury car rental and chauffeur service based in Costa Mesa, California. The business was started by Giovanni Torres just two years ago in Newport, and has since expanded to its current location in Costa Mesa. As the company continues to grow, Torres plans on opening a second location in Las Vegas by the summer of 2023.

Newport Auto Galleria offers a wide range of services to the community, including chauffeur services, airport pick-up and drop-off, and luxury and exotic car rentals for short and long-term. What sets Newport Auto Galleria apart from other similar businesses is the personal touch they provide to their clients. The business conducts itself as a personal concierge, providing services that go beyond renting a car or providing a chauffeur.

With an 8,000 ft facility, Newport Auto Galleria has an enormous showroom with cars and two barber stations. They provide a one-stop-shop for all your needs, from renting a car, haircut, chauffeur services, to concierge services. They will even book dinner reservations and guide you to the finest coastal restaurants of your liking.

Early Life:

Giovanni Torres has had quite the journey to get where he is today. From his time in the army to owning his own rental car business, Torres has always been a man on a mission. It started with his education. Torres received his associates degree from Rio Hondo College in the city of Whittier, setting him on a path to success. Interestingly, Rio Hondo College is the first community college in California to offer a bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology. Shortly after college, he joined the army and served for four years, earning grit and developing a strong sense of discipline. Following his time in the army, Torres transitioned to a career as a firefighter, which allowed him to serve others and make a positive impact in his community. His entrepreneurial spirit soon kicked in when he decided it was time to start his own business. First, he opened a used car dealership and quickly expanded to three locations, a testament to his incredible work ethic that he still maintains today. After working with so many interesting people that Newport Beach naturally attracts, Torres’ interest in luxury cars began to accelerate faster than a Lamborghini. He knew it was time to transition from his career in building these successful car dealerships to a new niche. So, he sold his share in the used car dealership to open a luxury rental car business. And thus, Newport Auto Galleria was born in 2021.

Business Philosophy:

The philosophy of Newport Auto Galleria is simple: they always aim to please. Your comfort is their number one priority. “My biggest inspiration for starting the business was to personally assist people’s unique needs. Whether you want to host an unforgettable Sweet 16, surprise your prom date, plan the perfect anniversary dinner or even an extravagant wedding day, I want our services and car lineup to cater to my clients with ease,” says Torres.

The business has experienced tremendous growth since its inception. Starting with just two cars, Newport Auto Galleria now has 28 cars and is still growing. Torres' biggest joy comes from seeing people's faces light up in awe when the luxury car they rented is revealed or hearing about their exceptional experience of enjoying chauffeur services in a spectacular car on their wedding day.

Life Outside of Work:

Outside of work, Torres enjoys outdoor activities such as going to the gym, soaking up the sun at the beach, and traveling. He is also involved in his community and supporting his church. As a soccer player growing up, and now a coach, he loves aiding with his children’s soccer season and their other sporting events. And with a heart to give back on a greater scale, Torres regularly donates to The Breast Cancer Foundation and autism awareness organizations.
