Inspiration in Starting the Business

Pouring herself into other communities across the country, Corey traveled by plane each week in her previous corporate career when she realized that she wanted to direct her energy and focus on her own community. She knew she could make a dramatic impact in the lives of those close to home and wanted to harness her skillset to help friends and neighbors right where she lived.

Corey was also awarded the President’s Club honor seven times and was the top-performing sales executive at her Fortune 500 company for three separate years.

About Corey Anthony

Corey grew up in Alabama and attended Auburn University to study Business and Marketing (and, of course, to attend the home football games as a student in the student section.) She grew up an avid Auburn Tigers fan, so it’s no surprise she ended up marrying one of the football players! Since her husband was a true Californian, longing to get back to the weather and waves, they moved their family to Newport Beach to raise their children and found themselves attracted to the Port Streets’ family-friendly environment. Career-wise, Corey started in the healthcare technology world working for a Fortune 500 company, lending her skills in the marketing department. With her expertise, she went on to help healthcare systems transform their electronic medical records and systems from the paper world to the electronic world as a sales executive. With incredible work ethic and experience under her belt, she transitioned into residential real estate in Orange County, where she’s been able to utilize and build upon the same skill sets to forge her way as a top agent in Newport Beach.

Living in the Port Streets of Newport Beach where she has been raising her kids for the past seven years, is a unique opportunity. “The community is centered around family, where you will find endless basketball hoops on the streets, children playing outside and knocking on each others’ doors, two swim teams, a greenbelt full of ball fields, playgrounds, walking paths, and Andersen Elementary in the center of it all. We are very big fans!” says Corey.

Outside of work, Corey finds joy in raising her three children and seeing them succeed in all their daily activities. Each child is uniquely different and growing in their own ways. Currently one of her children attends CDM High School, the middle is at CDM Middle, and the youngest is attending Andersen Elementary School. Corey also enjoys a nice run outside with friends.

Corey loves investing in her community. She’s the proud supporter of Andersen Elementary School DEANS, Andersen Elementary School PTA, Corona del Mar High School and Middle School, Harbor View Swim Team, Newport Hills Swim Team, Bloomers benefitting Casa Teresa, Miracles for Kids, and the non-profit Once Upon a Room.
