Insider Tip, Tanaka Farms

One of NBL's favorite and most photographic pumpkin patches, Tanaka Farms, is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year!

Have you ever picked your own pumpkin right out of the pumpkin patch? Tanaka Farms is one of the only farms in Orange County with a REAL pumpkin patch! They offer lots of activities, from wagon rides to arts and crafts. They even have a pumpkin cannon!

Weekdays are only $20 and include free parking (M-F morning). On weekends, admission is $22 with an additional $10 for parking per vehicle (Fridays starting at noon and all day Saturday & Sunday). Admission includes entry, a corn maze, unlimited wagon rides, a Barnyard Educational Exhibit, U-Pick Pumpkin fields, a play area, and tons of great photo opportunities.

Insider Tips:

1) Go early in the season before the fields get crowded, and the vines start to turn brown. This is also the best time to get great pictures and to pick the perfect pumpkin. 

2) Weekday afternoons are the least busy, so you'll have more space to explore. The mornings can get busy with field trips, but afternoons are usually more quiet Monday through Thursday.

The Tanaka Grill will be serving up all your farm favorites with a Tanaka Twist! 

 Their Produce Market Stand will be open daily from 9am to 6pm for all your pumpkin accessories, fall decor, snacks, farm-fresh produce, and more!

The pumpkin patch is open through October 31st.
