Focused on creating inspiring and distinctive spaces, Andrea Interior Designs was born out of a passion for bringing value and function to homes and offices in Orange County. The chief designer and visionary, Andrea Bokosky (who goes by Andi), has over twenty years of design experience, but her interest in this field spans much longer than that. Growing up in Fair Oaks near Sacramento, Andi grew up competitively swimming and excelling in water polo. These high-intensity sports certainly play a role in her attention to detail now as a renowned designer. After UC Santa Barbara, Andrea moved to Washington DC, working in Public Relations, when her interest in design was sparked. She made her way back to California to attend design school at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles and, after receiving her design degree, moved to Orange County to begin her career in interior design. In 2002 Andrea began designing model homes for several design firms and home builders and then transitioned to designing residential and spec homes. During this season, she experienced the joy of having her first child. Focusing on motherhood led to new priorities and spurred the decision to transition into her role as an independent contractor for a leading design firm. Shortly after the birth of her baby, she also welcomed the exciting creation of her own interior design business, Andrea Interior Designs.

Her full-service design firm in Orange County aims to create beautiful spaces that provide purpose and value. Andrea Interior Designs takes on projects of all sizes, focusing on whole-home or whole-room designs.

“My clients are my inspiration. I believe everyone deserves a beautiful, functional space that makes everyday living more enjoyable. Interior design transforms daily life, and I strive to reconcile both aestheticism and functionality. I love getting to know my clients and creating the perfect blend of function and form. Seeing my clients happy and comfortable in their home is my greatest inspiration.” says Andi.

What feels like a dream job to help clients realize their dream space isn’t something Andi takes lightly. She is deeply thankful for the people she is honored to work with and a family that supports her in building her business along the way. Her husband and two children are always rooting her on.

As a resident in Newport Beach for over fifteen years, Andi enjoys the southern California lifestyle, spending time at the beach with her family, running near the Back Bay, and enjoying her beloved pilates classes. In addition to soaking up all that California offers, Andi and her husband love giving back to their community in many ways. As board members of the Mariners elementary school foundation for the last four years, their goal is to raise funds to ensure the school has programs, personnel support, and infrastructure that would otherwise not be available to students. The foundation was originally created out of concern over the decline in state funding for public schools. Andrea recently helped specifically in her role as Head of Spirit Wear, where she designed and created unique merchandise to raise school spirit.
